ART GALLERY
This art gallery in Sao Paulo is a proposal to expand its exhibition area. Once it is a part of the Brazilian architectural heritage performed by the Architect Miguel Juliano in the 1950s, there was a significant concern in respecting the use of the existing project. The proposal provides a block of the current house, perpendicular to the street and in a skewed axis relative to the house´s original axis. NOTE: The concrete block has superimposed wood packaging for art frames (wooden crates). The "covering" - the roof slab - is slightly shifted, allowing the entry of natural light and ventilation.
Este croquis ilustra o conceito de releitura da arquitetura original do arquiteto Miguel Juliano.
Nota-se os dois eixos e o cubo que gira à frente.
